About

I do the analysis, and I own the outcome.

I’m Hank, a final-year Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) student at Monash University, with a High Distinction average. My work covers three things: corporate deals, AI in finance, and APAC capital markets.

In the last year I structured a $421M refinancing for a steel manufacturer in Vietnam, built and deployed a self-hosted AI agent that cut a company’s reconciliation time by 60%, and ran a $700K equity book to a 17% return. Different problems, same approach: find the number that actually drives the decision.

Working across Australia and Vietnam has made me comfortable working across borders, in a second language, and in rooms where not everyone shares the same assumptions. I’m looking for 2026 internships where that mix is useful: in advisory, banking, restructuring, or strategy.
